Born in Wuhan, Hubei Province in 1979, Kevin Xia majored in oil painting, with in-depth research on global art history and systematic aesthetic theories.
With over 20 years of experience in high-end hospitality art and soft furnishing industry, he has profound insight into international hotel space aesthetics, material application and overall project implementation. Specializing in multi-material artistic creation, he excels in crystal & glass art design, large-scale sculptural installation and ecological art display. He empowers overall soft space design with artistic essence, balancing luxury texture, spatial atmosphere, operational practicality and enduring artistic value.
Having established long-term cooperation with designers, artists and international hotel groups worldwide, he has led numerous benchmark global projects. His iconic works include the massive art chandelier for Kempinski Hotel Qatar, large-scale art wall installation for Italian luxury cruise liner, grand spatial art device for Marriott Hotel Philippines, and giant crystal fountain for ultra-luxury private residence in Malaysia. Mohamad Makouk has over a decade of professional experience spanning art, architecture and production. He dedicates his practice to creating projects where art stands as the defining core of interior space rather than a decorative afterthought.
Combining curatorial insight, strategic thinking and hands-on execution capability, he seamlessly oversees the entire workflow from concept development and design refinement to fabrication, project coordination and final on-site installation. His portfolio covers hospitality, luxury residential, corporate and cultural landmark commissions, always positioning art to shape a distinct project identity, layered spatial depth and immersive sensory experience for occupants.
Specializing in bespoke lighting design and large-scale chandelier installations, Mohamad Makouk creates works at the intersection of sculpture, advanced materials and architectural context. Centered on form, scale and compositional balance, his lighting creations transcend basic functional illumination to redefine the entire spatial atmosphere. Drawing inspiration from natural structures and symbolic cultural elements, he reinterprets them into precise, refined compositions of glass, metal and light. Project Management Team: With full-cycle management experience in large-scale hotel projects, familiar with project milestones, progress control, multi-party collaboration and on-site implementation processes; responsible for progress coordination, quality supervision, risk control and inspection & delivery, ensuring efficient, orderly and on-time project implementation.
Supply Chain Team: 15+ years of experience in soft furnishing supply chain, carefully selecting global high-quality cooperative suppliers, proficient in international product standards, production techniques, quality control requirements and delivery cycles; providing customized production, stock allocation, cost optimization and stable supply support.
Business Team: 5+ years of deep cultivation in the Middle East market, proficient in English / Arabic bilingual, familiar with business rules, customs clearance processes and customer needs in the Gulf region; expert in large-scale project coordination, business communication and full-process overseas business follow-up.
